Race Info
The Suffolk County Marathon is an annual marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K race weekend held each October on Long Island, New York, with proceeds benefiting local veterans' services. The Sunday races start in Babylon Village and run east along Montauk Highway before crossing the Robert Moses Causeway to Captree and back, finishing at Gardiner County Park in Bay Shore. A companion 5K and kids' fun run take place the day before at Gardiner County Park. The race has run since 2015 under organizer Race Awesome, and its marathon and half marathon courses are USATF certified, with the marathon serving as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
