Race Day Weather
Warm start, rolling challenge ahead
Runners will face a starting temperature of 66°F, rising to 76°F by the finish, with high humidity at 75%. A headwind will impact the first three miles, necessitating conservative pacing early. As conditions warm, hydration will be crucial, particularly through the rolling terrain, especially during the notable climb at mile 4. Tailwinds from miles 8 to 9 may provide some relief before tackling the final stretch.

Race Info
The Boilermaker 15K is an annual road race in Utica, New York, first held in 1978. From 1997 to 2006 it was the largest 15K race in the United States before being overtaken by Jacksonville's Gate River Run, and it remains one of the largest in the country. The course finishes near the F.X. Matt Brewing Company, where the post-race party features Saranac beer and a live concert. The race has been held every year since 1978 except 2020, when it was cancelled for COVID-19 and later rescheduled to that October. Wikipedia
