Race Info
The Route 66 Marathon is run in late November in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with the marathon, half marathon and marathon relay all starting at 8:00 AM on Sunday. The course crosses downtown, follows Riverside Drive along the Arkansas River and passes through the University of Tulsa campus, and in 2026 the start moved onto Historic Route 66 for the first time. The half marathon shares the marathon course for about the first 11 miles before turning to its finish at Guthrie Green in the Tulsa Arts District, and marathoners can take an optional 0.3-mile Center of the Universe detour. The marathon is run on a USATF certified course and is a Boston qualifier. Source
