Race Info
The Marshall University Marathon is an annual marathon, half marathon and 3.25-mile run/walk held each November in Huntington, West Virginia. The course starts and finishes at Joan C. Edwards Stadium on the Marshall University campus, running through downtown Huntington, along the Ohio River and through Ritter Park before a finish on the football field. The race dates back to the early 2000s and includes a memorial flower placement near mile 26 honoring the 1970 Marshall University football team plane crash. It is USATF certified and serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
