Dia de Muertos - Viva la Vida is a Day of the Dead-themed race weekend on the Long Beach waterfront, run by Califlow Runs. Runners choose a 1 mile, 5K, 10K, or half marathon, all starting and finishing near 5400 E Ocean Blvd. The half marathon covers three laps of a flat beach-path loop shared with pedestrians and cyclists. Race weekend includes a costume contest, live mariachi music, and a community ofrenda honoring the holiday.
