Race Info

The Saddleback Marathon is a trail race in the Cleveland National Forest near Silverado, California, first run in 1988. Wildfires have repeatedly disrupted it: the 2018 Holy Fire, the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2024 Airport Fire each forced a cancellation or course change. The race moved to a new course starting from Black Star Canyon Road for the 2025 edition, which also introduced 25k, half marathon, and 10k options alongside the marathon. Source
