The City of Lakes Half Marathon is an annual USATF-certified half marathon in Minneapolis, Minnesota, run on the parkways circling Lake Harriet and Bde Maka Ska. Organized by the Minnesota Distance Running Association (Run Minnesota), a nonprofit founded in 1961, the race began as a 25K before switching to the half marathon distance in 2014. It is also known as the Jeff Winter City of Lakes Half Marathon in memory of its founding race director and serves as the USATF Minnesota Half Marathon Championship. The field is capped at 1,800 runners and typically sells out.
