Race Info
The Arches Half Marathon runs on the Behind the Rocks Trail about 13 miles south of Moab, Utah, alongside a companion 15K, marathon, and 50K held the same day on the same desert course. The route follows jeep roads and sandy washes with views of the La Sal Mountains and Picture Frame Arch. Mad Moose Events, a family-run race company, has organized the event since 2017. A high-clearance or four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended for the unpaved access road to the start/finish area.
