Utah Valley Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start, warm finish ahead
Runners will face a cool start at 49°F, gradually warming to 67°F at the finish. With a light SW wind at 7 mph, conditions will remain manageable. The significant descent in elevation means runners will feel the warmth increase as they move toward the valley. To maintain performance, starting conservatively is advised, especially with the temperature rising quickly after mile 2.

Race Info
The Utah Valley Marathon starts in Wallsburg, Utah and runs downhill through Provo Canyon along the Provo River, past Bridal Veil Falls, to a finish at the Utah County Courthouse in downtown Provo. The course drops about 1,444 feet, just under the 1,500-foot limit Boston allows without a time penalty, and it is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The half marathon covers the last half of the marathon course and the 10K covers its final miles. The race is held on the first Saturday in June, with a Friday evening 5K the night before. Source
