Race Info
The Yuma Territorial Marathon is held in late January in Somerton, Arizona, with a half marathon, a 10K and a four-person team relay on the same morning. The USATF-certified course is an out-and-back on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 95 that starts and finishes at the Cocopah Casino & Resort, passes through Somerton and Gadsden, and turns around at the San Luis city limits for the full marathon. It descends about 74 feet in the opening miles and climbs the same amount back before the finish. The race is a Boston Marathon qualifier and is organized by Caballeros de Yuma. Source
