Race Info
The Stennis Space Center Marathon is run inside the NASA Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi, on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. The marathon starts and finishes near the Cypress House, runs out to a turnaround shared with the half marathon, then repeats the course to a second turnaround before returning to the finish on the same paved, wooded roads. The race is a Boston Marathon qualifier with a 7-hour limit, and it is sanctioned by USATF and the RRCA with all three courses certified. It was known as the Mississippi Coast Marathon through 2015, and a half marathon and 5K run alongside it. Source
