Race Info
The Space Coast Marathon and Half Marathon start and finish along the Indian River in Cocoa, Florida. The marathon heads north on Indian River Drive to a turnaround before joining the half marathon course for the run south to Cocoa Riverfront Park. Running Zone Foundation and Space Coast Runners have organized the race since 2007, and 2026 marks its 55th running, making it Florida's oldest marathon. Both distances are USATF certified and Boston Marathon qualifiers, and 2026 opens a new four-year theme, the New Frontiers Series, starting with NASA's Juno mission to Jupiter. Source
