Las Vegas Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool and breezy, adjust for hills
Runners will face a temperature range from 44°F at the start to 57°F at the finish, with a light breeze peaking at 6 mph. The average humidity is low at 39%, allowing for comfortable conditions. However, the gently rolling course combined with headwinds from miles 4-6 and 11-12 will require runners to adjust their pace, particularly in those segments. Tailwinds in the later miles will provide a boost as they approach the finish.

Race Info
The Las Vegas Marathon, first run in 1967, is one of the oldest marathons in the U.S. It returns for 2027 under producer Brooksee Event Productions with a redesigned out-and-back course starting and finishing at The STRAT hotel-casino, with a 6:30 a.m. start. Runners pass through the Fremont Street Experience early on, loop through Springs Preserve and nearby neighborhoods, then close with ten miles down the Las Vegas Strip past the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
