Race Info
The Hangzhou Marathon starts at Huanglong Sports Center and finishes at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium. The course passes West Lake and the hilly Hupao Road in the first half, crosses the Qiantang River on the Fuxing Bridge, and follows the riverside greenway to the finish. First held in 1987, it holds World Athletics Gold Label status and recent editions have drawn 30,000-36,000 combined marathon and half marathon finishers; the 2026 field is capped at 22,000 in the full marathon and 14,000 in the half.
