Race Info
The Grand Rapids Marathon is a 26.2-mile race held every October in Grand Rapids, Michigan, since 2004. The course is USATF certified, flat and fast, and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Metro Health became title sponsor in 2008; the hospital system renamed itself University of Michigan Health-West in 2021, and the race is now presented as the University of Michigan Health-West Grand Rapids Marathon.
