The Famous Idaho Potato Marathon is held each May on the Boise Greenbelt, a flat paved path along the Boise River. The marathon and the half marathon, 10K and 5K that run the same morning start and finish at the Morrison Center on the Boise State campus. The marathon is a Boston qualifier, and the YMCA of the Treasure Valley organizes the event.Source
